MedCorpora operates from Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Current sourcing availability includes hospital relationships in India rather than public patient-level downloads. US and other international requirements can be assessed and pursued through buyer-specific feasibility.
Source records remain within the hospital's controlled environment until a defined programme has passed inventory, authority, privacy and technical review. The hospital or authorized data controller retains the source record and any permitted re-identification mapping.
What MedCorpora is authorized to do
Before preparing or releasing an approved de-identified cohort, MedCorpora establishes written, programme-specific authorization covering the defined processing, de-identification, curation and licensing workflow.
This is not a claim of blanket ownership over hospital records. Exact scope is evidenced during diligence and governed by the relevant hospital supplier agreement and buyer licence, including permitted use, geography, retention, exclusivity, security, onward transfer and deletion obligations.
The hard part is not copying files
Medical data becomes useful only when the supplier can connect permission, privacy, technical structure, clinical truth and quality. MedCorpora is designed around that full chain rather than a marketplace of unverified uploads.
Programme availability
Brain MRI is the current corpus under study-level verification and privacy clearance. Its working scope includes 3D T1, T2, FLAIR, DWI/ADC and selected perfusion across 1.5T and 3T systems. Liver MRI/MRE and non-contrast CT are published sourcing scopes, not ready inventories.
The platform can extend across additional hospital imaging, reports, laboratory data, pathology, waveforms and linked clinical evidence when a buyer requirement matches verified inventory, authority and a suitable clinical reference standard.
Diligence material
Qualified organizations can review programme-level supplier evidence under an appropriate confidentiality process. Depending on the engagement, this can include the relevant authority schedule or excerpt, aggregate inventory, de-identification plan, technical manifest, scanner and sequence distributions, annotation provenance, quality exclusions and proposed licence terms.
